This is an event for secondary students aged from twelve to seventeen. Enjoy pizza and soft drinks while joining in with the Ignite your Writing a writing prompts and creativity workshop.

Bust your writer’s block! In this 75 minute workshop Sasha will take you through how to spark, harness and develop story ideas. She will show you how to develop story ideas, stay focused and beat writer’s block.

Finesse your writing in readiness for the Tim Winton Awards for Young Writers.

Midland Library In-Conversation

Join us for a conversation with Sasha Wasley about her new book, Spring Clean for the Peach Queen! Sasha writes adult contemporary fiction about life, love and community, as well as young adult novels. In this special presentation she’ll be talking about books, women’s relationships, forgiveness and spring cleaning! We hope you can join us with some friends for a fun morning out, light refreshments and book talk. Spring Clean for the Peach Queen and Sasha’s back list will be available for purchase and signing on the day.
